The Froissage Cocktail Table borrows it’s name from an inventive type of collage developed in the mid 20th Century in which the contours of a crumpled piece of paper are used to create a drawing. This avant-garde art form is likened to early Cubist efforts to capture multiple motions within a single framework. The Froissage Cocktail Table fuses Cubism with Mid Century Modern through traditional craftsmanship to create a whimsical sense of movement and play.
